The TRUEcharge3 battery chargers lead the industry with a small footprint and ultra-compact design. These chargers meet global safety and regulatory standards and feature low electrical interference along with efficient power factor-corrected multistage charging. The TRUEcharge3 Chargers are designed with a drip-proof design, allowing for mounting in multiple positions. Furthermore, unlike its predecessors, the TRUEcharge3 is compatible with lithium-ion batteries.

Designed for recreational and commercial applications worldwide, the TRUEcharge3 accepts 90–265 Vac, and 47–63 Hz, which simplifies international travel and accommodates poor-quality power sources. The easy-to-read display of the TRUEcharge3 12 V models can be enhanced with an optional remote panel. Each model has built-in protection against surges and spikes on the AC power line, ensuring reliable performance.

Three-Stage Charging

Multistage charging ensures batteries receive optimum charging with minimal wear and tear by regulating the voltage and current delivered in three automatic stages:

• Bulk: Replaces 70–80% of the battery’s state-of-charge at the fastest possible rate
• Absorption: Replenishes the remaining 20–30% of charge, bringing the battery to a full charge at a slow, safe rate
• Float: Voltage is reduced and held constant to prevent damage and maintain batteries at a full charge for the remaining 20–30% of charge, bringing the battery to a full charge at a slow, safe rate

Power Factor Corrected (PFC) Charging

Less shore power is required for charging batteries, which frees up more usable AC power for running electrical devices and appliances. This reduces the likelihood of tripping shore power breakers.
