Features:

• Bluetooth Smart built-in: Enables wireless configuration, monitoring, firmware updates, and synchronization of SmartSolar Charge Controllers via a smartphone or tablet. This eliminates the need for physical connections during setup and allows for convenient remote management.
• VE.Direct: Provides a wired data connection to Victron's Color Control GX, other GX devices, PCs, or other compatible monitoring systems. This interface facilitates comprehensive system monitoring and data logging.
• Ultra-fast Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT): The Victron SmartSolar MPPT employs advanced MPPT technology. This is especially beneficial in dynamic lighting conditions, such as those experienced under a clouded sky. The ultra-fast MPPT controller maximizes energy harvest, yielding up to 30% more energy compared to PWM charge controllers and up to 10% more than slower MPPT controllers.
• Load output: Prevents over-discharge of the battery by connecting loads to the load output. This output disconnects the load when the battery voltage drops to a pre-set level, protecting the battery from damage. (48V model: interface with a relay). • Battery Life: intelligent battery management: The SmartSolar MPPT solar charge controller incorporates an intelligent battery management algorithm. This algorithm actively monitors the battery's state of charge. When the controller cannot fully recharge the battery within a single day, it gradually increases the load disconnect level to ensure the battery reaches a near-full charge regularly. This prevents premature battery degradation and extends battery lifespan.

• Optional external battery voltage and temperature sensing via Bluetooth: Enhances charging accuracy by utilizing a Smart Battery Sense or a BMV-712 Smart Battery Monitor to transmit battery voltage and temperature data to the SmartSolar MPPT Charge Controller.
