SmartSolar MPPT Charge Controller - 100V - 50AMP

The Victron SmartSolar MPPT Charge Controller maximizes energy harvest from your solar panels, ensuring optimal battery charging. This 100V, 50A model is designed for efficient and intelligent battery management.

Features:

  • Bluetooth Smart built-in: Wirelessly configure, monitor performance, update software, and synchronize multiple SmartSolar Charge Controllers via Bluetooth.
  • VE.Direct: Enables a wired data connection to a Color Control GX, other GX devices, a PC, or other compatible devices for comprehensive system monitoring and control.
  • Ultra-fast Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT): The ultra-fast MPPT controller continuously monitors and adjusts to maximize energy production, especially under variable light conditions, improving energy harvest by up to 30% compared to PWM charge controllers and up to 10% compared to slower MPPT controllers. This feature ensures that you get the most out of your solar panels, even on cloudy days.
  • Load output: Prevents over-discharge of the battery by connecting loads to the load output. The load output disconnects the load when the battery voltage drops to a pre-set level (48V model: interface with a relay). Battery Life algorithm provides intelligent battery management. The load output is short circuit proof.
  • Battery Life: intelligent battery management: The Battery Life algorithm monitors the battery's state of charge and dynamically adjusts the load disconnect level to ensure the battery receives a full recharge regularly, preventing damage and extending its lifespan. This prevents cycling between a partially charged state and the end of discharge state.
  • Programmable battery charge algorithm: Customize the charge algorithm to suit specific battery requirements. Refer to the software section on our website for detailed information.
  • Day/night timing and light dimming option: Utilize day/night timing and light dimming functionalities. Refer to the software section on our website for details.
  • Internal temperature sensor: Automatically compensates absorption and float charge voltage based on temperature, optimizing charging performance and battery health.
  • Optional external battery voltage and temperature sensing via Bluetooth: Enhance accuracy and control by using a Smart Battery Sense or a BMV-712 Smart Battery Monitor to transmit battery voltage and temperature data to one or more SmartSolar MPPT charge controllers.
