• Configure the battery charge algorithm according to specific battery requirements, or select a fixed output voltage for consistent power delivery.
• Benefit from smart alternator compatibility, incorporating an engine running detection mechanism for optimized charging performance.

Adaptive 3-Stage Charge Algorithm: Bulk – Absorption – Float:

• For lead-acid batteries, the Orion-Tr Smart employs an adaptive absorption time, shortening it during shallow discharges to prevent overcharging. After deep discharges, the absorption time automatically extends to ensure complete battery recharge. This adaptive 3-stage charging optimizes battery health and longevity.
• For lithium batteries, the absorption time is fixed, with a default setting of 2 hours.
• Alternatively, users can select a fixed output voltage to suit specific application needs.

Remote On/Off:

Facilitate remote control by connecting a remote on/off switch or relay contact to the designated two-pole connector. Alternatively, the H terminal can be switched to battery positive, or the L terminal to battery negative or the vehicle chassis.

All Models Are Short Circuit Proof and Can Be Paralleled to Increase Output Current:

Expand the available output current by connecting multiple units in parallel, without limitations on the number of units.

High Temperature Protected:

The device is designed to automatically reduce output current under high ambient temperatures, safeguarding against overheating and ensuring reliable operation.

IP43 Protection:

The Orion-Tr Smart offers IP43 protection when installed with the screw terminals facing downwards, providing resistance against water spray.
