The HydroWave H2 Catfish Edition now offers nine distinct sound patterns for enhanced adaptability to various fishing conditions. Anglers can also utilize five pre-programmed delay options, ranging from 15 to 120 seconds, to create more realistic soundscapes. The inclusion of a larger 2.5” LCD screen streamlines operation, and the H2 features a redesigned, modern aesthetic. Installation and usability are improved with an easily accessible expansion port for future sound additions and a combined speaker/power cable connection.

As an electronic feeding stimulator designed around the sensory capabilities of catfish and other predatory species, the HydroWave H2 Catfish Edition employs patented sound-emitting technology to convincingly replicate the underwater sounds of baitfish and active feeding. Scientific research supports the effectiveness of these sounds in stimulating feeding behavior in targeted game fish.

The HydroWave H2 Catfish Edition uses Tactile Sound Transmissions, produced with finely tuned amplifiers. These transmissions differ from typical sounds by creating vibrations that fish can feel, resulting in a more potent stimulus. The unit emits sound waves that predatory fish perceive as natural baitfish activity, effectively encouraging a feeding response.

Biological studies have demonstrated that fish detect prey through a complex sensory system involving sound, vibration, and pressure waves. A comprehensive stimulus, including pressure, vibration, and sound at the correct frequencies, is required to elicit a strong feeding response. The HydroWave H2 Catfish Edition speaker is designed for mounting on the underside of any trolling motor, using the included zip ties. An optional transom mount is available through HydroWave for use with auto-deploy trolling motors or boats without trolling motors. The speaker's omnidirectional design ensures effective sound dispersion regardless of the trolling motor's direction or the unit's mounting location. When mounted on a trolling motor, the speaker maintains a streamlined, hydrodynamic profile. The unit operates on a 12-volt power supply.
