The Accuracy of GPS and GLONASS

The GLO 2 Bluetooth GPS GLONASS receiver can acquire position data from both the GPS and GLONASS satellite networks. By accessing both constellations, the GLO 2 can connect to significantly more satellites than devices relying solely on GPS. This enhanced capability enables the GLO 2 to achieve satellite lock approximately 20% faster and maintain a stable connection, even at high speeds. Furthermore, the GLO 2 updates its position information at a rate of 10 times per second, exceeding the update frequency of many mobile devices' integrated GPS receivers by up to tenfold.

Set It up and Go

The GLO 2 receiver utilizes Bluetooth technology for wireless pairing with your mobile device. Simply place the GLO 2 within range, and it will transmit its precise position data. With a battery life of up to 13 hours, the Garmin GLO 2 ensures continuous position tracking during extended journeys. Recharging is convenient using the included USB cable or the optional 12/24 V vehicle power cable. An optional friction mount is available to secure the receiver on your dashboard, providing an unobstructed view of satellites.
