The WeatherLink Console revolutionizes access to and analysis of hyperlocal weather data reported by your Vantage Pro2™orVantage Vue® sensor suite. This intuitive device receives and displays data from your local network and connects to Wi-Fi to transmit data to the WeatherLink Cloud.

24hr Fan Aspirated Radiation Shield:

The 24-Hour Fan Aspirated Radiation Shield employs a solar- and battery-powered fan to maintain constant airflow through the sensor chamber. The 24hr fan aspirated design maximizes temperature reading accuracy. During nighttime hours, when radiative effects are diminished, the fan relies on battery power, ensuring continuous operation.

24hr Fan Aspirated Radiation Shield Features:

• A motor-driven fan draws a constant airflow through the sensor chamber at 500 feet per minute (2,5 m/s) 
• At night, when the effects of radiation are less, this solar-powered model runs on battery power and the airflow slows to 280 feet per minute (1,4 m/s) 
• Install your own sensor in the sensor chamber

UV Sensor:

The Davis Instruments UV index sensor measures the sunburning portion of the UV spectrum. It quantifies global solar UV irradiance, encompassing both directly transmitted and atmospherically scattered components. The sensor reports the UV index, dose rate, and daily and accumulative UV light doses, enhancing the capabilities of the Vantage Pro2 weather station. 

UV Sensor Features:

• Measures the sunburning portion of the UV spectrum. Allows you to display UV index, dose rate, and daily and accumulated dose
• Diffuser provides excellent cosine response
• Measures global solar UV irradiance, which includes both directly transmitted and scattered UV
• Transducer responds only to radiation in the region of interest and is stable in the presence of heat and humidity
• Cutoff ring with a comb structure for cosine response of ± 4% FS
• Two-piece housing minimizes radiation heating, allows convection cooling of the sensor, and prevents the trapping of water or dust

Solar-Powered Wireless Sensor
